There is no 'grey market'

Ultimamente não faço praticamente mais nada a não ser trabalhar na tese, por isso decidi partilhar um pequeno excerto de uma entrevista com um director criativo sobre os consumidores mais velhos.

'Grey market, there is no such thing, age doesn’t matter. If you think in them as the ‘grey market’ you lost, they are just people. If you look at the brands they buy, the range of places they go, the way they live their lives.
You physically change, emotional and mentally you don’t, there are differences you learn, have more experience, but you don’t turn into more conservative people. Older people are seen as more conservative and resistant to change, that only happens if you are vulnerable, lots of people don’t get vulnerable as they get older.

The green movement is lead by older people, the movement for conservation of land, conservation of older buildings, history, conservation of quality of life, the movement towards organic food is led by old people. The most forward group in the world is the older group. Younger people are selfish and self indulgent, they fast car, night clubs, fashion, nonsense, they are lazy. Older people work hard, are smarter, are better, more social responsible, more aware.
They are better people.
Like them. You can’t sell anything to them if you don’t like them, learn to hear and understand them and you are there.'

Palavras sábias mas, será que estou muito engadada, também elas "grey".
